Blackened Blades

Another different story line...

Sin rose from her crouch her eyes not leaving the man who was a few meters in front of her. As she stood she slid her hands up and through her hair gathering the silky dark blonde mass into a messy bun to keep it out of the way and away from his hands. Next she shrugged her jacket off, a motion that the dark haired man with blue eyes that practically danced with challenge followed. Sin's eyes snapped fire and answer to the challenge without hesitation, and with the removal of her jacket it was apparent why, as she had knives and guns aplenty in holsters and sheathes on her curvy frame. They began to circle each other with smooth predatory grace that is a gift of warriors everywhere. Sin's hands were both sheathed in darkened steel claws that were not only beautiful on her slim hands but functional in the deadliest way, in her left hand she also held a wicked dagger that was made of the same metal as her claws. She rubbed the tips of her claws together with a small snicking sound and then stilled herself studying her opponent as he drew two blades, one short sword and one dagger. Their circle got tighter and they came closer together until they were barely 3 feet apart. With a sudden move from both they came together with a clash and scrape of steel, she blocked the sword with her dagger and twisted herself past his, bringing her claws down across his chest and spinning away her steps as light as a dancer's. His eyes widened in pain and he looked down to the four neat furrows on his chest that his heart's blood had begun to stain. His shock from pain and that the agile woman in front of him with steel claws for weapons had actually injured him snapped him into action mentally and physically, giving him the realization that this was an opponent he would have to take seriously. He slid easily back into form and once again they came together with the sounds of steel meeting steel, he blocked her claws and dagger turning them both aside and managing with strength over agility and aided with a long blade, to catch her shoulder with his blade and spill her cherry red blood over her pale skin. They stepped back and resumed circling each other both with blood drawn, they both looked for weakness and finding none resuming, this time a draw neither opponent drawing blood, though this engagement lasted longer than the previous. Both of them were beginning to sweat and were breathing a little heavier. This repeated on and on, alternating between who drew blood and who was able to avoid blades or claws. Both were pouring sweat and blood with breath coming in bursts when the fight turned from a stalemate, she slipped past his guard raking her claws down his chest again, but that slip had been calculated, and he took the hit to get inside her guard, he dropped his sword and flipped his dagger to his right hand, and hooking a leg around hers brought her to the ground with his free hand pinning her wrists and the dagger at her throat.

His voice rasped from the dry heat of the near desert they were in, and from pain, "Like it or not, Tamsin I caught you and you will be coming back to your responsibilities."

Sin bucked and struggled under him heedless of the razor edge held to her throat while she writhed under him trying to get leverage to throw him off her or to get her hands free. She gritted her teeth and growled her reply. "When the sun shines in Hell, and it's Sin now, I left my name when I lost the weaknesses that went with it." Her labored breathing roughened her silvery voice, though she gave up struggling after a few minutes of him holding her strong. "Why did you come after me, its been years..."

"Yes, and you did a fantastic job of disappearing for those years, as I have been after you for all of them." He tightened his grip on her wrists. "You will come back with me, that will not be in question."
